The future home of the August Wilson Center for African American Culture will be located on the corner of Liberty Avenue and 10th Street, in the Cultural District. Visit us now, at our 209/9 Space, located on 9th Street between Liberty and Penn Avenues, in the Cultural District. Open Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, noon-5pm; Thursdays - noon-7pm.

The two Galleries at 707 Penn & 709 Penn Avenue are projects of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, and feature works in multi-disciplines by local and regional artists. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. The administrative offices of the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, Pittsburgh's arts services organization, are located above the ground-floor gallery at 707 Penn Avenue.

The series focuses on emerging writers either publishing in national journals and magazines or publishing their first or second books. The readings are unpretentious and fun.
